How it works
Each takes a minute or two. Use one, two or all three; the app fits around your day, not the other way round.
Morning · Mantra
Pick a few words that matter to you today and Momentide turns them into a short mantra. Record it in your own voice if you like. With Pro, a quick one can arrive ten minutes before a big event on your calendar.
Afternoon · Sound
Eight sessions built from soft binaural tones, rain, waves and a breathing guide you can feel as gentle vibration. Pick one by mood, or with Pro, describe how you feel and get a suggestion. Binaural sessions are made for headphones.
Night · Ritual
Speak for a minute about your day. Your words are turned into text, and with Pro you get two short lines of reflection back. A Worry to Tomorrow list gives the thoughts you want to park before sleep somewhere to wait.
Insights and experiments
Every moment is tagged with the time, the day, the moon phase, the season and, if you allow it, the weather. After a few weeks, the Insights tab starts to show your own patterns.

Moon rituals
The moon gives you a calendar that resets every 29 or 30 days. Momentide uses it as a gentle rhythm for reflection.
Privacy and safety
No ad networks and no cross-app tracking. Your entries and recordings are stored so only your account can read them, and you can delete everything from the app.
AI-written text is marked as AI, and nothing is sent before you agree. Your name, email and recordings never go to the AI, and you can turn it off at any time.
If something you write sounds like a crisis, the app skips the AI and shows helplines such as 988 instead. Momentide is a wellbeing tool, not a medical service.

Yes. You can download Momentide and use it for free: one mantra a day, three sound sessions, ritual entries with moon phase tags and your last 30 days. Momentide Pro adds the rest, from calendar mantras to personal experiments.
In the United States, Pro is $4.99 a week, $11.99 a month or $59.99 a year. Prices in Canada are shown in the App Store before you buy. Subscriptions renew automatically, and you can cancel any time in your iPhone settings.
For the binaural sessions, yes, because each ear hears a slightly different tone. Without headphones you still hear the background sound, such as rain or waves.
Some text, such as your daily mantra or a short reflection on a ritual note, can be written by Claude, an AI model made by Anthropic. The app asks before anything is sent, marks AI-written text, and lets you turn AI off at any time. Your name, email and recordings are never sent to the AI.
Your entries and recordings are stored so that only your account can read them. There are no ads, we don't sell your data, and your content is never used to train AI models. You can delete your account and everything in it from the app.
No. Momentide is made for relaxation, focus and reflection. It doesn't diagnose or treat anything and is not a substitute for professional care. If you are in crisis, call or text 988 in the United States and Canada.
